I'm not being nice

This is from today's random chat on Skype. I rarely use Skype though. If these days I've started to use it again, it's because for a silly reason. I join this Lost frivolously and I thought I could experiment a bit with it on Skype. In other words I use Skype random chat feature to expose it, after all I hardly meet someone who really wants to chat from Skype random chat, most of them are just actor wannabes.
I get so far only three or four to join, but got a lot of zanies offering flowers, weird things, and weird chat as usual.
This following one is none of the above, but it's just my silly way of responding :-D
So I got contacted by this person whose profile saying: Expat in Jakarta...(NO SERIOUS LADY ALLOWED).
Notice that he uses capital there.

This is the transcript of the chat:

Money on Blog

Now almost every blogs have ads on them -at least Google adsense- and the latest trend currently is blog advertising. Bloggers write reviews about services or products and they get paid to blog for that. Many advertisers seem to like to advertise on blogs, probably because blogging has become influential on the internet, it's like the voice of internet culture.

Bloggers can grab the opportunities by joining Smorty like what I have been doing now.
I signed up with Smorty almost two weeks ago, got my blog approved right on the following day and immediately took one of the available opportunities. Every submission will have to wait five full days before knowing what fate might come around, either get accepted or rejected.
I'm happy that my first assignment got approved, so that means there will be a payday in a week because Smorty pays bloggers weekly. It's still a small amount, but it's nice that my blog can earn me $ :-D

So far –on Google- I read mostly positive things about Smorty, they do pay bloggers, so let's continue to blog for money. Oops, my materialistic side is revealing now :-D Hello there...

They Say I'm a Monkey

Not me of course. Who dares to call me that way eheheh.
That's the title of the newest Indonesian movie that's not yet released for public screening. I got an invitation from a friend to watch the premiere screening of "Mereka Bilang Saya Monyet" -the title in Indonesian, and it was yesterday on 27th December.

As I already expected, I didn't enjoy it. Still too many clichés like Indonesian movies in general, and their actings are mimicking. I didn't see the supposed characters appear on the movie, I felt just like watching those actresses and actors playing roles. Too many unnecessary shouts. Why in Indonesian movies, angers are always represented with actress or actor shouting? I don't want to write more here, it would be a spoiler to the movie. All that I can say, yes I recommend the people in Indonesia to watch this movie, but I thank God I didn't have to spend a rupiah to see this movie. Oh..one thing to be taken into notice, who are 'they' in that title? I think there's only a 'she' who calls her monyet.
So far 'Berbagi Suami' is still the better Indonesian movie.

Home Lighting

In interior and architecture design, lighting plays a role in creating moods for a building, a room, a space, or even a display. A meticulous plan for home lighting will result in a better appearance. In general, there are two types of lighting, natural and artificial lightings. Artificial lightings or light fixtures each serves different needs.

A kitchen should need a sufficient lighting for food and cooking preparation, this type of artificial lighting belongs to task lighting. Kitchen should also apply ambient lighting which is a general type of lighting that is usually required for common activities. The right choices of kitchen light fixtures will create a functional yet aesthetical kitchen, and a non over-lighting kitchen.

A bathroom might look nice with an ambient lighting type such as small recessed ceiling light fixtures because they can create an even lighting for the room. A high foyer will bestow a dramatic effect with an ambient lighting such as chandeliers.

Song to Be Born

Would never known how hard it is to write song lyrics before helping a friend on his lyrics.
He's making a beautiful piece which is still raw, but it already has the power to control because I listened to the song many times and didn't get bored.

It's not my song and it's not about me, but still it makes me excited since he has trusted me to review his song and to allow me to make some suggestion. We are just online friend, I could just 'steal' his unnamed song, disappear from our circle, copy the song and claim it mine. I guess he perceives me as a genuine person and banks on my refined musical taste ;-P
It's an honour for me helping him writing on his lyrics, unfortunately English is not my first language. Song needs not only English but contented words, so I suggested him to read some Pablo Neruda's writings first instead.

I hope he can match the tunes with the perfect words, and I will have a new popstar or rockstar friend from........soon! See, I'm not genuine at all :-D

When My Heart Finds Christmas

Nothing is more special about Christmas than the Christmas itself, not the old Santa Claus, not the presents, not anything else because Christmas is already the biggest present given by God. I didn't have Christmas wish list but I did made some wishes when I attended a Christmas celebration of my Church on 20th December.

Some of my Italian friends whom I chat with on Christmas Eve were expecting Christmas dinners with their families but no such tradition in my family, and I chatted 'til around 1am -which means Christmas day already.

Got awakened by a massive noise thunder around 3am, I woke up saying God, and I don't know why I thought about doomsday directly. Then I told God something like ooh.....please God this is your birthday, and I got back to sleep :-D

Now, on officially Christmas day. Something did happen. One of my wish did come true and it means a lot to me. Thanks Jesus, I love that surprise. Still, nothing is more special than the Christmas itself.

And this is a wonderful song for the jolly holly season from Harry Connick, Jr I pray on Christmas

A Shop on the Net

The paragon of online shop is a shop that successfully gets customers mostly because of the exposure that the shop gets on the net, and a shop that does its transactions mainly over the net.
In other words that shop should get the most possible coverage by all search engines and at the same time is secure and easy enough for either party to make transaction online. Isn't that sounds complicated for someone who just wants to sell things online? Because it's got to be a computer and internet savvy to build a proper shop with a well-design shopping chart but powerful ecommerce software.

A visit to Ashop Commerce will prove that even a seller that has barely computer or internet experience is able to have a professional online shop with attractive design and appropriate security. A shop that is also fully covered by any search engines. That means the shop will gain bigger customers and international exposure. Those are just small parts of powerful Award Winning Shopping Cart Software that an online seller can get when joining Ashop Commerce. The most catching thing is the service is a product of a bunch professional with the spirit of amateurs, this means they are care of their costumers and their business mutually, not because they just want to sell their ecommerce software.

Lost in UK

Amongst many beautiful countries in the world, I do have my own favourites. They -beside my own country- are Italy, United Kingdom, and Japan. Everyone might agree with my choices, except about Britain.

Aren't the people as cold as the weather there? No, they are not, they have their famous British jokes and I do enjoy watching their Little Britain series.
Other than that there are a lot to see and to experience in UK. I remember my friend and I loved to take a train and go without really specific destination across the UK from one town to another town. We did get lost once or twice but people there were helpful too. Once at a station when we missed the last train to go back to the city where we stayed, an officer or police –I don't really remember- offered us to stay for a night at the waiting room, but we were even luckier when our British friend didn't mind to drive us almost in the middle of the night to another station to catch the train.

Of course since things in UK are not really cheap, that kind of rashness is not recommended. Actually even if it's cheap, it's always better to have some information before set foot in any destination.

If I ever visit UK again, I would first check available resources. Like if I want to surf the cool nightlife in London, I would search about London Hotels to make sure that the hotel is near the hip clubbing areas. I would also first check some Edinburgh Hotels to avoid fully booked situation in peak season like when Edinburgh Military Tattoo Festival is around. Speaking about Scotland, I think everyone should not miss Glasgow too. I went there and visited that beautiful Glasgow Willow Tea Rooms which was designed by the well known architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1904. So a search for Glasgow Hotels is a must too.

I'll be back...one day ;-)

Ads on Blog

creative ads inviteRecently I've been starting putting some ads on my blog, and joining some get paid to blog thing or Advertise on Blogs. I think I need a new way to blog since I always feel reluctant writing all the time about myself :-D and this has caused this blog not always updating. Get paid to blog gives me topic to blog and the best thing is my words are the $ ;-)

So far I have started with Blogvertise and they're quite fast in approving my registration and giving assignment. I think I got my first after one day of joining, and I should have done my second assignment have I not been too busy tweaking -on the sense of rearranging achieve, ads places, and small bits only though- and putting this new template. There are some other distraction too, I've been searching the net about any other similar programmes and found some. Can't give them any reviews yet, but there's this one website -a popular website too- that seems having problem with certain browsers, a bit annoying. I did get responds from its costumer service about that though, but its website interface is a bit confusing too or maybe it's because of that browser problem?

Then I came across another similar programme that I at first was interested in joining it, until I got to its registration form. I immediately knew, the site should be a product of one neighbour country if not my own country. Why? Because they're asking about what is the participant's race and religion. Lol. What do these have anything to with our ability to blog? I don't understand. Is it a dating site or a paid to blog site? Or maybe it's trying to combine them :-D

New Look for Christmas

It's already Christmas season, time to change template for Origena.
Though at first I felt reluctant to replace the Foliage template that I'd been using in more or less two years. It's a unique and very well design template. However its dark colours sometimes look depressing, and the Ajax top menu sometimes crashed, causing Origena don't perform well all the times. I did think many times to freshen up Foliage with my own choices of colours and illustrations, but I'm good at procrastinating as always :-D

I chose to find free good template designs, and del.icio.us showed me Mashable posting about 50 more beautiful blogger templates. I'm liking templates made by Blogandweb, and Magazine Style of Jackbook. I previously had installed that Magazine Style template for my other blog, but I find it hard to follow its instruction, so it didn't really work well.

It's funny that I could install templates from Blogandweb -a bit more- easily thought the instruction is in Spanish. Maybe it's because I never really actually read any instructions thoroughly. Finally after trying some templates from Blogandweb, I decided to install Plantilla Blogy Mosaico, and it's done pretty fast. The problem were -and some are still- the tiny but essential bits of blog, such as the meta tag, feedburner, and some other more nitty gritty. The biggest obstacle is, I don't know at all about the coding that new Blogger has now, so it's really annoying.

Luckily there are many great hacks and tips available on the net from generous Blogger experts. Without their instructions, this Origena would dress improperly :-P
Grazie a tutti.

Come What May

If only we can hush away bad karmas, we would not have to worry about the days that we have not seen. Alas, bad lucks are creeping around, taking actions upon us randomly, and the insurance companies' people are like everywhere trying to convince us how good their products are in comparison to their competitors' products.

Don't be lost, Advantage Term Life provides a website where people can search, compare and get the most suitable insurance before purchasing. That of course helps people Save Money on Insurance. No need to worry about getting into trap of bad insurance company because Insurance Quoting Service that Advantage Term Life has, won't let that happens.

So bad luck may happen one day, but a good cover such as Life Family Plan Premium won't make that day go worse, instead it's around to bring the necessary aid.

Water + Oil Fire = Blast

Read and Remember!!

A dramatic video (30-second, very short) about how to deal with a common kitchen fire (oil in a frying pan). Please read the following introduction and then watch the show. It's a real eye-opener!! Perhaps you'll want to share this information or send it on to your family and friends.

Picture this:
An instructor dons a fire suit and, using an 8 oz cup full of water at the end of a 10-foot pole, tosses water onto a grease fire.
You will not soon forget what happens.
The water, being heavier than the oil, sinks to the bottom where it instantly becomes superheated.
The explosive force of the steam blows the burning oil up and out.
On the open field, it became a thirty foot high fireball that resembles a nuclear blast.
Inside the confines of a kitchen, the fire ball hits the ceiling and fills the entire room.

Also, do not throw sugar or flour on a grease fire.
One cup creates the explosive force of two sticks of dynamite.

I like u Crazy

It all began with me wanting to embed song to my posting, and for that I need a simple slim player. Google search showed me some sites and at first I actually like very much the one from tutorial for flash mp3 player that's originally made for Wordpress but has been tweaked for Blogspot or Blogger. I don't know what is wrong, the player doesn't show up even though I think I have followed the instruction as it's written.

So I moved on to another suggested site and take a look A Little Flash mp3 Player. It's simpler and the player is even much smaller and can be inserted into a sentence. For example: I want to say I like u crazy, you crazy!

There's a shortcoming of this player though; the volume cannot be adjusted, and when someone click the words or the song name rather than the green triangle then it won't play the song instead it'll open a page of the player alone.

Btw about that song, I read comment tread of that little flash mp3 player and one of them mentioning another mp3 player called Streampad and there how I found the song and it ended up here cos I like it very much. Happy December to all.....first of December already.....Christmas is near and so the end of this year is too.
