Puppy Mills Kill Kindness on Earth

When I was a little girl, my ankle once was bitten by our family dog. I don't remember why she bite me, but I will never forget that her name was Lassie, her fur was black and white, and she was a pekingese. I've never hated nor been afraid of her or any other dogs because of the incident, I love the creature still.

They're cute, witty, but if I must pick one from many good qualities that usually dogs possess, then I choose dog's willingness to help. Some anomalies do exist, such as dogs who bite without reason or savage dog who killed or injured others, I really hope I will never meet one like that!

Back to my pick -dog's willingness to help, this heartwrenching video really depicts that quality. I've already read about the story in a newspaper months ago, but found the video just today. It's about a stray dog who helped another stray dog who was hit by a car on a highway in Chile.

Normal dogs -like dolphins- seem inherited instinct to help others in need. Pity that some people still see dogs (and dolphins) as food, and pity that some dogs are treated badly like those puppies in Puppy Mill. After seeing an article about Puppy Mills, I began to think maybe that's why ferocious dogs exist. The puppies are born and breed in a terrible condition where they're not considered as living creature, but simply as commercial items. The mills are always dirty, jam-packed by too many puppies in one cage, and lack of care. Some puppies survive, some don't. Some will grow to be normal dogs, and some will become who I define as troubled dogs :-\

I decide to join The Puppy Mill Link Exchange Project (thanks to Kelvin) to prevent the existence of savage dogs and to save those little 'angels on Earth'.

I hope many bloggers also join this movement and place the badge and article on their blogs to spread the words. Remember......
The Puppymill Link Exchange Project

I've met whale, how about you?

I love to see whale swimming and hopping in the ocean. Its monolithic body is just like a small moving hump on the infiniteness of the ocean. I think I've seen it twice, I mean in real and not just on television. I even believe that I've seen the whale spouting water through its blow-hole -but sometimes my mind can't really remember which is real and which is just my imagination, or whether I made some imagination while I was watching it :)) anyhow...

As a whale admire, I'm sad about whale hunting. I understand that whaling is considered part of culture in certain countries, but I think we need to preserve this gentle giant from extinction.
Whales are rare, no other animals or living creatures have bodies as big as theirs. Let's help them to survive, let's give chance to our future generation to meet them, thus let's end commercial whaling by joining the following move.

For Sammy who deserves lots of love

Today when I visit blogcatalog, one of the thread tells me to visit a link about Sammy's story. Maybe because I have a very weak heart for dogs, I couldn't continue to watch the following video yet. It's too sad, made my head hurts.

It would be wasting time to question how could someone do bad things to such a loving creature while in fact there have been many stories about dogs' valours in helping humanity.

So this case is just one example of terrible cruelty. Very sad.
Nevertheless, dog's survival ability and its life spirit are amazing.
Sammy is really an inspiration.
I hope Sammy will now always get all love that he deserves.
He will never be able to see again, but he sure can live much better with much love.

Please help spreading this video of Sammy.

See how Sammy looks now in the care of Noah's Ark Rescue, and he still needs some help.

The Lost Kingdom

On one of my blogwalking from entrecard, I came across this similar mama tiger and piglets photo. To be honest my first reaction was: I wish that tiger skins on the piglets are only fake tiger skins.
As I’m a curious person who loves Google search so much, I always likely to search further to find out more about interesting story that catches my attention. That also happened when I was reading fiveblondes’s The World is Amazing.
Especially because a comment from Jackie brings out an appalling story behind that photo.

What is the real story?
1. That picture is taken from SRIRACHA TIGERZOO in Thailand NOT in California.
2. That tiger doesn’t lose her cubs at all, instead ‘the happy family’ is fabricated for human amusement solely. This is unfavourable grim real story about mama tiger and piglets affair, including mama piggy and cubs, and other stories.
3. This is the article in 2003 about the 100 tigers that Sri Racha Tiger Zoo in Thailand exported to China, including tiger meat issue.
4. This is the favourable Urban Legend

I haven't found the latest news about it though, does it mean no news is good news? I hope so, in the mean time, 'enjoy' this video from Sri Racha Tiger-Piglets Circus.

Play to Save Shelter Pets

It says that every correct answer feeds a hungry shelter dog or cat. So please, spare a little time to help those poor animals by playing the trivia.

I went to an animal shelter twice. I saw many dogs and cats there, for me as a dog person, all dogs are cute and for the cat person, all the cats there must be cute too.
I could hardly believe that people have heart to leave those pets there, for goods.
I spoke to the staff there about some Siberian Huskies that I saw there, he said they were left by an expatriate who went back to his own country for good.
Poor dogs, after the honeymooney times they're just left behind.
Why would someone buy pet/s if at the end left the pet/s?
Dog is a very faithful creature, they will be very sad if they must separate with their human.

My friend once adopted a dog which was left by his human who's back to his country. This dog was very friendly but quiet. One day my friend took the dog to dog salon to get groomed, as he was leaving the salon the dog suddenly went howling frantically and trying hard to follow him. It's really moving, seemed that the dog was scared to be left again.

I Love You

Isn't he full of love?
For me killing dog is like diminishing love from this world!!
Stop cruelty against our earth angels.

Tell eBAY to stop allowing the Sale of Dog Fur, Live Dogs and Cats, in China.
China's long history of animal abuse, including the recent slaughtering of 50,000 dogs (many of whom were considered "pets") and other appalling atrocities, such as skinning conscious dogs and cats for their fur (which is then exported to the West, where it is illegal in many places), is allowed to continue because China has no animal protection laws. In China's live-animal markets, many animals, including cats and dogs, are crammed into wire cages with no room to move. It's outrageous that even after reviewing photos and video footage of the plight of dogs and cats in China, eBay still refuses to prohibit the sale of these animals on its Chinese Web site. Sellers post items openly advertised as dog fur, which is not just terribly cruel but also in violation of American federal law.

I urge you to do the right thing and stop facilitating the suffering, torture, and death of animals by ending eBay's sale of cats and dogs in China.

Thank you.
Some small number of people in Indonesian also eat dog :-(((

Barbaric Trade!!!!!

If only I didn't love dog, I wouldn't feel very sick about dog and cat fur industry in China.
About how they brutally skin alive those (have long been known as) domesticated animals. For some people they're not just animals, but they are also best friends and helpers.
In many countries people rely on dogs to do some important jobs.
In China they skin alive dogs and cats, and send their furs also to USA and Europe markets.

Sure, somebody can argue that some animals could be as domesticated as dogs and cats and can also be labeled as companion animals.
But I always see dogs as somewhat different. They are sincere, intelligent and most of all they kinda have this special bond with human that makes them seem to always want to protect human.

There's a story I watched on Animal Planet about a dog who rescued a kid who was totally a stranger to the dog.
They only met sometimes when his master took him for a walk and passed this little girl's house. The little girl and her Mom didn't like dog at all and would shun immediately once the dog and his master passed by, although the dog's master always greeted them.
One day, there was a big earthquake and the girl was alone and scared to dead inside her house. She was crying and no body was around. Just when the cupboard (or the wall) behind her was about to fall down, suddenly that dog came to rescue her, alone!
No one could understand what power that brought the dog to come and save her at the right time, though they live some distance apart.
That is just one story amongst uncounted stories about dogs' merits towards human.
Some cats, although very few also have been heard as saviours to their human companions.

So how could I am not mad about dogs and cats slaughtering in China?
Especially when they are killed brutally, I mean, by skinning them alive? :-(((

Of course pigs, sheep, chickens, etc also have been known as saviours to human, in term of providing us meat to eat.
But have you ever heard about a pig, sheep, or goat who guides a blind man?
Who can detect cancer?
Who can help epileptic seizures sufferers?
Who can save a boy from tsunami?
Who help the police busted drugs smugglings?

Killing dogs is like killing sincerity!

Please sign the petition against it now!
Spread it up!

Maybe you should be careful now when you buy some dolls or fur stuffs made in China!
