Fabio is commenting the picture of me flashing that V sign.
I knew that the similar sign when the palm is facing inward to the person who does the sign, is considered profanity in UK. Since Fabio is no stranger to UK, I thought he is just kidding me.

I tell him that I know in UK the inverse way of this sign means f*** off.
His response makes me a bit embarrassed :-)))

F: i met a jap girl in nyc, i took a pic with her.. and she did that sign!! :(

I explain to him that I did it because I was very happy to see that famous Rakata volcano was in action when I was there, not because I was trying to stereotype.

He's so bitter eheh, but bitter people are better than sugar-coating sweet talk people.

About that picture

I did a mindless mistake when I posted one of Scragz's photos for my post “Ever Wonder about this Picture.”

Luckily Scragz sent a comment last night for that post, here it is:

Creative Commons is the best...but watch out! The link to my photostream is wrong and the Commons Cops will soon be at your door.

At that point, I was not sure what mistake that I've done, cause I followed Skelliewag's tips on using photos from flickr.
I then click his Blogger.com profile to contact him, but it's not publicly open. So I clicked the link that I used for that photo, of course I went to the wrong person and I was lucky too that I couldn't find how to contact the person otherwise I would confuse him cause it's not his photo at all. I browsed his photo collections a bit though in order to retrieve that photo, again of course it's never there.

Finally I noticed what's wrong, the person who contacted me is Scragz and the link that I used has different flickr id.
Felt a bit relieved that I could find how to leave message to Scragz, I explained the purely accidental mistake and apologised for that. Feel completely relieved that he actually never mind the use of that photo, with the correct link credit of course.

Here's his reply:

it was kind of funny in the context. ^^

Wonderful

I saw double rainbows once, I thought they were omen for good luck. Maybe a good luck came to me after that, but having seeing the twins was counted as a good luck already.

A Cricket on Entrecard

I was not satisfied with my previous Entrecard images which so far I have changed it 3 times, until I found the green Cricket on Flickr. The Cricket is very photogenic, and at first I thought it's not a real one. Just look at his face, it's like one of those on Bug's Life, and its pose is like he –I like to consider it a he :-D- knew that the photographer is taking his picture.


Glad that this picture is under Same Rights reserved license which allows anyone to use or adapt it for any project, but of course I have to make acknowledgment for fdecomite as an expression of gratitude for this wonderful macro shoot.
