One of things that sometimes I do with my old friends when we meet, and when one of us brings a lappie is to check our other friends' current lives through facebook. We're so nosy, I admit that unashamedly, and facebook feeds nosy people needs :-D..that's why I don't have my profile there :-D
Sometimes, our finding is surprising :-)
Like that afternoon, we found out one of our old friends has a current profile picture of him and a pretty woman in seemingly their wedding ceremony.
Our little quick scan through his wall then proves us that it's their wedding, a second marriage for him.
That's not the surprise, though he was just back to the singlehood in a short time, probably just a year or so.
The surprise is........the pictures of his ex-wife are still all over his albums :-D
They seem head over heels for each other in those pictures, and some comments are very intimate :-D ...well...his ex is a hottie.
Wondering what his new wife thinks of the fact.
Is it for the sake of their kids only? So they know daddy still not forget their mommy, or........the love might has gone but the lust stays? :-D
Anyhow, if that can comfort their children....and maybe the new wife has a big heart.

You're Selling a Wrong Doctrine
My today during morning to the afternoon was tinted by greyish colour. Stories resulted from my own experience and from news that I overheard on the radio and later when I watched one of our national local tellies, Metro, were the ones who painted that colour. Since throwing all the stories here would make my entry too long, I decide to write the non personal one first.
I watched a dialogue on Metro TV, a talking about terrorism that currently begins its stupidity in some parts of Indonesia. There were two participants who argued each other, and a moderator.
I dare not to write much here, because it has the possibility to ignite the short fuse of some narrow minded people, and also because unfortunately I didn't watch fully from the beginning.
I side with Al Chaidar, the observer of terrorism, because of strong points of his argumentation.
However the one that caught my attention is what the other person said.
He said that it is wrong to kill people who don't sin.
Yes, people who don't sin, and I'm sure he meant it that way because he kept repeating those words.
He didn't mean innocent people.
That makes me think.
Humph...he's not a law maker..so..is he God?
Afaik, imho, only God who knows everything. Besides, is there any of us who doesn't have sin?
Not even a pope, not the late mother Theresa, not any of the preachers I saw at Church, not one of us.
I bet each of us was/ is not resistant to sin.
I can't include Jesus, because He's 100% human but 100% God.
The statement "it's wrong to kill people who don't sin", really makes me frown...
How could he or the people who sympathise him or have the same thought with him decide, which one who doesn't have sin and which one who does? Which ones are allowed to be killed and which ones are not?
Wrong doctrine, so totally absurd. Hope he realises that, otherwise his brains need more nourishment.
Ok. that's one colour of grey for today. Let me end this entry with some translated lines from Takuboku Ishikawa - taken from Romaji Diary and Sad Toys (Tuttle Classics)
You sad pathetic creature! I mean all terrorists!

A Spoonful of Cocoa
I know
The sad heart of the terrorist-
A single-minded heart
Which finds it impossible to cut asunder speech and act,
A heart that wants to speak with deeds
Instead of words, which one has been deprived of,
A heart that hurls at the foe the body encasing it-
This is the sorrow serious and fervent men forever have.
Sipping cold cocoa from a spoon
After some eternal endless debate,
I know from this slightly bitter taste
The sad sad heart
Of the terrorist.
You sad pathetic creature! I mean all terrorists!

Breakfast Guilty Pleasure
I got very hungry just before reaching lunch time, and it's because of what I ate for my breakfast.
I almost never dare to skip breakfast because of a saying that says breakfast is important. Unfortunately I often am being careless about the nutrition fact and the quantity of my intake by stuffing my stomach with things that only pamper the taste buds of mine. This is the picture of my very light but high in calorie breakfast
The one that is so special to me is not that Hagen Dazs ice-cream, but it's the ones wrapped in leaves.
For information, they are not any sort of stuffed rice or rice filled with something inside. They are fermented glutinous rice, or its traditional name is Tape. This one is special to me because I never saw Tape Ketan wrapped in leaf like that before my in-law gave some to us on previous day. I like Tape Ketan very much and this tape tastes even nicer. I think the leaf adds a unique taste to it, and the bake process enhances the taste.
Adding choco ice-cream was definitely a big no-no, vanilla flavoured ice-cream is always a good companion for tape. However, there will be no next time for this kind of breakfast! I need to care more of my stomach and future health :-/

Just something freshening as I walk the internet today. A bit lighten up the withering flame of affinity inside myself...it gives me hope...
6 months ago i didn't know Amy.Finally another update within less than a week, made me a proud blogger :-D
5 months ago, i wanted to be Amy's friend.
4 months ago, Amy and i became best friends.
3 months ago, Amy stayed up to keep me from killing myself.
Ever since, Amy has been the reason I've kept going. Friends who care, no matter how long you have known them

Obscure Moment
hihihi..I have this post nesting on my draft, forgot to tick automatic post..and now..after 2 months passed...I just realise that!...as obscure as its content :-D
I felt I just had a parapsychological experience. It's not a cool nor it is an eerie one, it's just unexplainable.
It's started right when we're about to leave B city, suddenly I had a headache and felt a bit queasy, but I believe that condition won't cause anyone to be disorientated.
My headache was a sensation of lots of needles pricking the left side of my head. It was sore tingling and heavy, completed by the sickness feeling.
Before leaving B city, we went to the gas station to fill up the car. I checked out the time on my mobile phone, it's passed 6 pm, so I estimated that we would reach J city around 9pm.
Just as the car departed from gas station, I suddenly felt a bit nauseated. I've almost never felt nauseated, so I was wondering what's going on? I don't have gastric problem to worry either.
I closed my eyes, tried to sleep, in hope that I could minimise the pain and the nausea. I didn't tell the others about that, I just prayed that I would not vomit cause it would be embarrassing and I wouldn't like the mess :-D I also prayed that we could arrive in J city as soon as possible.
Finally when the car almost reached the last toll gate, I opened my eyes and read the sign that we're in J town already.
Now, this is the thing that still perplex me..
I checked out the time on my mobile phone...
...it's around 4 am !!!... and the date...14 February already!!
I double checked it, and the time and date still said the same.
I asked the other, what's the time? R answered me "9 pm o'clock sharp"!
Everyone was laughing when I told that my mobile's time was acting weird by showing wrong time and date.
Immediately after I arrived home, I took a shower, then I checked out the time on my mobile again, insane...it showed 10pm and the date is 13 February!!
Still don't know which one was having error, was it me or my mobile?

Berol Karisma is why I hate big rain
Karismacolor are no more. They are deceased. They have passed over to the great sharpener in the sky. They have fallen out of their box. They have been permanently erased - they are GONE.I found the above quote after once again trying to find the trail of Berol Karisma on the net, something that is almost impossible. All Berol Karisma seem really as quoted above. They're not erased though, they're pursued by many, that's why...
Bob Ebdon
I can only find its twin, Prismacolor.
Two years ago I could still see some sets on the net, but the prices were crazy that made them the most expensive coloured pencils I've ever known. Maybe if I were very good at using them, I would not be considered crazy if bought it. The reason I like it simply because I was in love with the set since the day I saw one of them. It's not about the appearance solely, cause as soon as I doodled, I knew it's the one. The set built up my confidence. I always feel I could do colouring with Karisma, and I don't have that confidence with any other else and my colouring is just like those who can use pencil, not like those who can really draw ;-P
I used to have 3 sets, one was a plain Berol, and the two others were what I love the most, they're Berol Karisma -two sets of 36 colours, each set had different colours. I bought one of the Berol Karisma sets when I was in UK. Back in my country, it was a big mistake that one day I let one of them, the Berol Karisma one, to stay some nights at my friend's house, cause one day the rain came ceaselessly and let the water inundated the house. The next was a tragic....the flood ate the set :-/
I now only have one set, I forget where the plain one's gone. I still can't forget my lost Karisma, especially during big rainy season like nowadays. Losing Karisma to me is almost like losing a dog.
My remaining Berol karisma has already looked worn out, and even the white one looks desperate, I love the set still.
Tell me where to find the cheap one? and best is the one in a wood case *dreaming*

Happy Palindrome Day
Palindrome is something very new to me actually, I think I knew it just last month? Or two months ago?
I missed it previously, but today I found it out on twitter like last time, andnothing special happened today, but I want to freeze this time Palindrone Day 1st, Febraio 2010 here on my blog.
It's 0102 2010, it's nothing special, but things special did happen on this day....anywhere and here and there ;-P
Have a peaceful night, afternoon, or morning!
ps. can you think of any other Palindrome Day in this year?

Christmas saga
Last year I tweeted "Don't let Santa Claus takes over Christmas!! Bad old man :-P" then I got a replied from Santa Clause on Twitter, saying "And just what makes me so bad?". He is really all over now, even in Twitter land, and has many followers too. I don't hate Santa Claus, I just hate the commercialism idea behind it. Santa Claus now is so different than Santa when I was a kid, back then he was not commercialised. Usually someone at our Church will dressed up as Santa handling gifts from parents to their children. Now, well, just go to the Mall and Santa is there waiting and willing to be taken a picture with kid, as long as he is paid some thousands rupiah. Not only at Malls or Shopping Centres though, because some days ago my sis-in-law told me that my nephew's play ground -which is part of a Catholic school- also arranged a photo session with Santa Claus for the toddlers, but I'm glad that my nephew refused. Good kid :-)
I think Christians should stop making their children believing in Santa Claus, and I can't understand why a Catholic school is also joining the Santa's saga thing? Because Christmas has nothing to do with Santa Claus, he's just an opportunist :-P
and he has successfully inundated Christmas with his existence, like this time, when finally I made a card with him on it, arrghh....!! Well, just because this time I got him for free though, and just because I wanted to practice my card making and my using copics, and just because I'm too lazy to draw the Birthday Boy aka baby Jesus by myself :-) Lame excuse!
So there it is a card that I managed to make from a free digi stamp and free digi patterned paper offers, and my sibling has adopted that Santa Claus' card for her friend.

A doll with an Afro hairdo
After some short times I set one foot in the craft world of card, I kept thinking of making some sketches for my future cards. Probably I'll make something like my own sketch bank. This time character is an Afro-like girl which is denoted by her coily hair. I've somehow been fascinated by the hairstyle.
Of course, like some Asian -including Indonesian- girls who don't like their curly or not so straight hair, some African-descendants prefer straight hair. Still I think Afro hairdo has its own charm, especially for those who have artistically beautiful faces.
That's all for now about this girl, I'll develop the sketch when I'm in the mood again!

Missing, Voting, Shopping
Today's holiday, I was very disappointed! Not because of the result of our presidential election, but because this morning when I was browsing the net, I realised that I missed Michael Jackson's memorial service live coverage on tv last night, Indonesia time. Later, I felt gutted at lunch when my bro told me that he and his family watched the reply in the morning. I knew then there would be no hope, because today is presidential election day in my country, means all the media would be fix on that.

So I decided to give my vote, especially because yesterday I received a promo sms from one Shopping Centre telling that all the voters will receive 50% discount at certain resto and cafe, including at ColdStone. A good way to encourage people to use their vote right, besides of course it's indeed a good marketing plan. But it turned out this became the second disappointme
nt of the day!! All of the ColdStone shops were packed of people queuing, that made all that I, my sis-in-law and my cutie pie nephew could do was doing a little shopping of nothing essentials :-P but we're glad that we got the thingies on discounted prices. I bought the Batdog doggy-bank -will post the pic later, that caught my attention when I first saw it some months ago, and my sis-in-law got some good bargain prices on two pieces of shirts for her cutie pie. I also decided to buy again some decorated ribbons for my new hobby, ie. card making, because they're also on 30% discount prices. That's all. Oh, and the winner of the election is already predicted.

My so called doll
I just tried to make my cartoon-like character with urFooz and I am not satisfied with the result. It's not urFooz fault though, it's because I don't have the patient to find and to try one by one the eyes, lips and etc in a meticulous way, I want to see the final result straight off.
Hairs and lips are the hardest parts, these that I adopted are what I think have some similarities to mine -the hair of course when my hair is long.
Look at her, I think in some ways, I can look like her when my hair is longer :-D.
Anyone who wants their own dolls shall get one or more for free at urFooz :-)

Prizes from the Blog World

This post contains some scrumptious chances that I found on the net and also is about the prizes that I have got from there up til now during 2008. I don't get many prizes but these prizes are still something that's rejoice-able ;-D
It started back in April, I was confused when I received mysterious 100 EC in my Entrecard account, but then the mystery revealed in a short time :)).
In August, without pretension I entered Win a Free Italian Lesson from Edufire, and I won. I haven't used the voucher, but I have checked that I can claim the prize whenever I want.
Keep reading to see some things that I luckily acquired from the net, and oh, you probably can also get your own luck! ;)
In November, I received email from www.hordit.com informing me that they are sending me t-shirt for helping spread the word about hordit. I'm still waiting for the t-shirt now :)
This December, as I already expected, I won $10 from PSDTUTS for buying a template. At first, I was very sure that I would buy the very cute Playful Planet template from Amanda, but then I saw Gamediary template which I think unique. I think I better don't rush, after all I don't yet need the template and I have a year before the prize is expired.
The most recent thing that I won from the net is the Holiday Special from Slamblogger. I won a month text-link ad there. I like this blog when it slams things, for instance those exclusively payperpost blogs, and currently it slams in-text ads. Harsh, but quite funny :))
I think that's all. Now I'm crossing my fingers for this $6000 contest that will end on 24 December and will be drawn on 27 December. I also feel very excited for HP Computer Giveaway contest from Labnol that will end pretty soon, i.e today!!
So hurry if you're interested to win yummy prizes. Try your luck just by answering a short survey. I have entered it some days ago, but I found out just now that this contest is actually just one of The HP Magic Giveaway contests!! But sadly many of them are ended already, though there's still chances until 22 Dec for tekkie people here.
Good luck! ;)
Double Decker Tag
Tag time is easy and tough thing for me :-D
Easy because (these) questions are simple and don't really cross the privacy line ;-)
Hard because I'm quite a loner in this blogsphere, I don't have many friends who do blogging nor I have many acquaintances from the blogsphere. Previously when I tagged some friends and other bloggers, they didn't respond, so I guess it needs the right chemistry to do this tag thing :-D.
So Monica, I hope you can understand my incomplete tag task ;)
Let's begin.

Quirky Tag and Haiku Contest

I know I'm not quirky because I had a hard time to list four unspectacular quirks of mine !!thank to Monica :))!!. Anyhow, here they are:
1. I never order coffee but chocolate drink when I go to Starbucks, and I always top my choco drink with cinnamon, vanilla and choco powders.
2. I don’t like drinking coffee, but I love ice cream with coffee flavour, and I like the smell of coffee.
3. Chicken –dead or alive, and also raw flesh of chicken makes me queasy, but I love cooked chicken, breast only though, I don't eat other parts :)
4. I use my index finger knuckle to push the light switch and the elevator button
Now, I want Leet and TheSuccess tell the blogsphere of their quirkiness.
That's all for quirky business, and let's get on to Haiku Twitter writing contest 2 made by Coppyblogger, worth the MacBook Air for the first winner.
It will end tomorrow, and I have already sent mine the very morning of today, but I did a mistake.
Oh well...still I doubt I will win even without the mistake.
It's my first try making a haiku, and there are a lot people compete in the contest. I have known Haiku, but I didn't know the anatomical of it, not until I read the Rules of the competition.
The skeleton of Haiku is this:
Phrase one (5 syllables) / phrase two (7 syllables) / phrase three (5 syllables)
Here is my initial Haiku:
Haiku makes me mad/But there are too many people twittering "Mac" or "MacBook Air" already, and there are too many people "counting" too, so I sent this:
I start to count syl-la-ble!/
Hope it’s worth a mac
Twelve a.m is here/The small mistake is that "a.m". It was meant to be "p.m", since the idea came exactly at midnight time. Anyway, as I said earlier, that really doesn't matter, I've noted at least two witty haikus that I favour to win, especially the first one, here they are:
No one else but me alone/
My thought swings to you
John J Savo:Cool and witty right :))
Haiku! God bless you/
nothing but a sneeze of thought/
and no handkerchief
Michael:
Losing all my hair/
so I need a macbook air/
to research baldness
If you think you can beat them, then waste time no more.
Post yours before Nov 16'08 here, that of course if you are a twitter citizen.
Trick or Treat Your Brain
Here's a little mindbending treat for you brain. It's an old trick, but it' still cool, especially with this nifty but simple presentation. I'm not sure if the click works here, if not, then just go directly to the site.
Ok, let's start to trick or treat your brains :))
Ok, let's start to trick or treat your brains :))
Curative Dream
I hate going to a doctor. Sometime ago when I was having a high fever of 39°C, I had this dream.I am walking with my Dad and my brothers on a small pathway just aside of a white painted Church. The Church building is disproportionately very long and thin, just like having an extreme distortion. As we are heading to the gate, I hear a beautiful choir's singing coming from a building on my left side. It looks like a Chapel, and it is also located in the same property of the White Church, but just before the gate.
Seems there is some merriment happening there. A marriage. I can see the white gown of the bride. Enchanted by the song, my father, brothers and I stop for a while outside the Chapel.
All of sudden a very tall and very dark man in a black suit already stands in front of my horse. I just realise I am riding a horse. The man smiles as he says "hello" and stretches out his hand to me as if to help me get off of my horse. I am startled then freeze for some second.
"Move on, hurry" Dad's agitated voice brings me back to my consciousness.
"I told you not to take this way, but your brothers are all stubborn"
We continue our journey and I turn left after we exit the gate.
It's very dark there, I barely see anything, but I then vaguely hear a lament, a chilling cry "huu..uuh....uuuuuuu..." -this is the onomatopoeia of crying :-D
Then faintly I also hear some kind of Arabic chanting is being murmured along with that cry.
Finally my eyes meet a dimmed light in a distance as the voice becomes more distinct.
The light comes from a lantern that lies on the ground.
There is a small group of people kneel down encircling something and they seem crying and chanting a prayer. Now I'm starting to smell damp soil mixed with burnt incenses.
Oh wait, it's actually not just something, it is a corpse wrapped in a shroud!
There's a woman looks really in grief and keeps mourning the wrapped corpse.
It looks like that they're preparing to put the corpse into the burrow.
I'm really freaking out, I turn right immediately and run..run...away from that graveyard.
I woke up sweating, and the first thing I remembered was I have to see a doctor, I don't want to die :))

Karmasutra
If you're dragged here hoping to read about Kamasutra, then stop and leave immediately cause unfortunately this is not about that. I'm gonna talk about Karma.Sutra means some kind of teaching, so there are Yoga Sutras, Brahma Sutras, Sutra Pitaka and so on. I'm not sure about Karma Sutra existance, maybe just Sharon Stones' Karma Sutra :-D.
Personally, I don't believe in Karma. Even if I were not Christian, I would not believe in Karma. As a Christian, I believe that the world has become a grave place since Adam and Eve lured by satan. That makes by default, the world is an evil place where any malicious things are happening in every single tiniest measure of time, doesn't matter if one is good or bad, evil power still can reach. Death then has become an inevitable fate, though for Christians death is not a period of life. Good people will be granted a place in Heaven after death, and the bad apples will be baked forever in an eternal flame.
Enough with the preaching, let's continue to Sharon Stones' karma saying.
I feel what China people feel with what Sharon Stones' saying. Cruel and shameful saying.
I confronted the same issue some time ago after Tsunami hit some parts of Indonesia. One of my experiences is when I was on a taxi in Penang Island, Malaysia. The driver expressed a big relief to that unspeakable big tragedy, he said Aceh people deserved it because they were wicked and that's their karma. I did wonder at that time, what about the Tsunami victims in Penang Island then?
He looked too poisoned by hatred and I don't have a skill to educate, so I just ignored him. My other experiences came the net where I bumped into some dull postings on some internet forums threads and comments mentioning that Indonesia deserved tsunami because of the riot in May1998. Pretty stupid, because the Tsunami victims were not only native Indonesia but also Chinese ethnic, Arabic ethnic, and so on.
I don't know if those people who condemned Indonesia's tsunami victims ever regret their moronic thought, but Sharon Stones finally realised that she's very wrong and she bravely apologised. I hope Stones' incident also opens their eyes.

Wonderful

I saw double rainbows once, I thought they were omen for good luck. Maybe a good luck came to me after that, but having seeing the twins was counted as a good luck already.

Coffee please
During our study at the university, my friends and I were very used to drink coffee, because many times we had to stay awake till morning to finish our assignments. Sometimes we gathered together at one house of one of us to do our assignments when the deadline was very close. It is such unforgettable moments when we drank coffee together trying to fight drowsiness while finishing our drawings or projects. Having a coffeemaker that can produce a cup of hot coffee fast was a desirable.
Kinda miss those days, nowadays we go to a coffee shop.
